What is IOL.im?
We could describe IOL.im as a place where adults can meet people who live their sexuality freely and openly. You can imagine IOL.im as a community full of interesting and, above all, carefully selected people who live in your city, your region, or anywhere else in the world, ready to share their experiences, interests, and friendships. Whether you want to chat, share photos and videos, stay in touch with friends, meet new people, or simply get attention… rest assured that on IOL.im you will find many people interested in getting to know you.
Are there any rules to follow?
The content you decide to upload must comply with our Terms and Conditions of Use and our Privacy Policy. Any content that does not comply with our rules or is considered offensive will be removed, and your profile may be blocked or deleted. For more detailed information please read the Community Rules, the Terms and Conditions of Use, and the Privacy Policy.
How much does it cost?
Joining IOL.im, creating a profile with photos and videos, and searching for people is free. There are also some paid features on the site that allow you to make the most of our platform. If you want to know the costs and the Terms of Use of these services, just click directly on the paid features once registered. Please note: fees are non-refundable!
How can I register?
Simple! Go to our homepage and follow the instructions. You must be of legal age and have a valid email address to complete registration.
Settings
One of the most important things to get the most out of IOL.im is to set up your account as you prefer. You may want to change some profile settings and here we explain how, in this section.
How do I log in?
Click on the Login link on the homepage. Then enter your email and password and click "Login".
What is my login?
Your login is the email address you used when registering on IOL.im.
I forgot my password. What can I do?
Click on "Forgot Password" on the IOL.im homepage and you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
What are email notifications?
Email notifications are alerts sent to your email address when you receive "New messages" or other notifications.
I deleted my profile but want it back, what can I do?
Sorry, but once deleted your profile cannot be restored. At the time of deletion all data is permanently removed. Once an account is terminated, the related subscription is also ended. If a subscription is terminated for any reason, either by IOL.im due to rule violations or at the member’s request, no refund will be granted for the remaining period.
What if I don’t receive the confirmation email?
If you signed up using an online email account such as Hotmail or Gmail, check your spam or trash folders for the confirmation email. If you do not complete your profile within 24 hours, it will be deleted. If registration is successful, the email used will become your new login. If the problem persists, send us an email from the Contact page explaining the issue and providing the following details: Browser type and version (e.g., Google Chrome), operating system (e.g., Windows 10), and the name of your email provider (e.g., Gmail).
How can I make sure my computer does not save my login and password?
By default, all major internet browsers ask whether to save passwords for websites, online services, and social networks. Many are tempted by the convenience of saying yes, but this feature can be risky for privacy, especially if the computer is shared. For more information, please read the guides of the most popular browsers: Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer.
How can I save my login and password on my computer?
If your browser offers to save your password, simply select that option.
What if I get the message "Email address or password is incorrect"?
First make sure you are not using capital letters and that everything is correct. If that’s fine, try closing and reopening your browser or clearing the cache. If it still doesn’t work, click the "Forgot Password" link on the homepage and follow the instructions to create a new one.
Profile

Who can see your profile?
Your full profile with photos and personal information is visible only to other members with full access. Others can only see a preview in search results and other sections of our portal.
How can I edit my profile?
Go to "My Profile" and click "Edit Profile" in the section you want to update. Once done, click "Save".
How can I see who visited my page?
In the dark gray bar at the top, to the right of the search field, there is a mask icon. If you have visitors, a number will appear showing how many people viewed your profile since the last time you checked. Clicking the mask will take you to the list of visitors.
What is the Like function?
The "Like" feature allows you to give positive feedback or connect with other members of interest on IOL.im. By liking another member, you will also receive their public updates on the main Wall.
What are Friends?
IOL.im is a community that lets you connect with your current friends and make new ones.
How do I add a friend?
Find the person you know and click the "+ Add Friend" button on their profile. A friend request will be sent. Once they accept, they will appear in your friends list.
How do I delete a friend request I received?
New requests you receive appear in the dark gray bar at the top, to the right of the search field, in an icon showing a group of users. Click it to go to your requests page, where you can delete pending requests.
What happens when I delete a friend request?
If you delete a friend request, it is quietly removed from your requests page. The sender will not be notified. However, they may send you another request in the future.
How can I update my location?
Go to "My Profile" and click the "Change Location" link on the right side of the page. Be careful: entering your exact location may compromise your privacy.
What are Validations?
Validations are personal positive or negative opinions that other users can leave on your profile only after a real meeting. Once you receive a Validation, you can accept or reject it. If you accept, you must also return a Validation, and only then will it be visible on both profiles. Validations are very valuable because they build trust within the community. Be objective when leaving a Validation. Fake Validations are forbidden and any violation will result in account deletion.
Album
In your album you can share photos and videos with the community. Please note we only accept high-resolution photos, not smaller than 250kb and with a minimum resolution of 1000 pixels. Low-quality photos from phones or webcams that look pixelated or blurry will be rejected. The profile photo must be full-body — no close-ups of details or body parts. Profiles that don’t follow this rule will be downgraded to limited access (if they don’t have a subscription).
What kind of photos and videos can I add?
Any photo or video you add must comply with our Terms and Conditions of Use. This means NO inappropriate content. Do not steal photos from other profiles. It’s unacceptable and will result in your account being blocked or deleted. IOL.im uses a system to detect photos downloaded from the internet.
How do I delete photos or videos?
Go to your album and click the "X" in the top-right corner of the photo or video you want to remove. To delete multiple photos, use the appropriate menu or manually select them and choose "Delete".
How are photos and videos moderated?
All photos and videos are subject to our Terms and Conditions of Use, which means NO inappropriate content. Our Staff moderates the content uploaded by users.
Why were my photos/videos removed?
There can be several reasons why one or more of your photos or videos were deleted. Below are the most common:
      Uploading a photo showing a minor
      Uploading a blurry or very low-quality photo
      Uploading a photo with any watermark, logo, link, or email
      Uploading a photo containing text
      Uploading a photo of a famous person
      Uploading a photo not owned by the user (downloaded from the internet)
Why can’t I add some photos?
Make sure the photo format is GIF, JPG, or PNG, and that the file size is larger than 250kb. The minimum resolution must be at least 1000 pixels (height and width). For videos, make sure the duration is under 10 minutes and/or 100Mb.
What is the IOL.im Stamp?
The IOL.im Stamp is a system that prevents unauthorized use of all photos on IOL.im. It makes it impossible for anyone to copy a photo and re-upload it to the site.
How can I remove the IOL.im stamps from my photos?
It is not possible to remove the anti-theft stamps from your photos.

What is the Speed Date service?
The Speed Date service allows you to post last-minute announcements. Speed Dates last a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 3 days, after which they are automatically deactivated. They can be posted in any geographical area and are not moderated by our Staff — they are available immediately online. Do not post email addresses, phone numbers, or any personal or advertising information, otherwise your account will be blocked/deleted.
What is the Travel Plan service?
The Travel Plan service allows you to post itineraries and travel plans. Unlike Speed Dates, you can add multiple Travel Plans. They can be posted in any geographical area and are not moderated by our Staff — they are available immediately online. Do not post email addresses, phone numbers, or any personal or advertising information, otherwise your account will be blocked/deleted.
What is the Party service?
The Party service allows you to organize public or private parties and events, invite friends, and manage guest lists. With the Party service you can invite your friends and meet new ones. If at least 16 photos of the event are not uploaded within 24 hours after the party, the party will be removed from the list of completed parties. This service is reserved exclusively for members for private events — it is strictly forbidden to use this service to promote businesses, clubs, or any other illegal activity. Any violation will be immediately reported to the authorities and punished with account deletion.
Premium Subscriptions
For IOL.im members, registering and creating a profile is completely free. Every member can create a profile with photos and videos, play the "Encounters" game, search for people nearby, chat, and have fun. There are also some paid features available through a Premium Subscription.
How much does it cost?
Uploading your profile with photos and videos on IOL.im is free. Once approved by our staff, your profile will be visible to the whole IOL.im community. This profile is called "Limited Access Member" and allows you to browse IOL.im and use some features. To access all features and services of IOL.im you must purchase a Premium Subscription, which can be monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual. Fees are non-refundable! New members can also use our IOL.im Promo Cards or Promo Codes, available in many clubs in Italy and abroad.
Is the subscription automatically renewed?
No, IOL.im does not use automatic rebilling. You will decide if you want to renew once it expires.
Is payment secure and anonymous?
You will be asked for credit card details. All cards are accepted, including prepaid ones. Transactions are absolutely secure. On your bank statement, the charge will appear as "CRD.LT/*IOL.IM" without any mention of the specific service, ensuring privacy.
